So…..I'm getting married!! My partner proposed in November after we've been together 10 years. It was actually quite the shock but I couldn't be happier to make him my hubby. So yeah, life has been busy. We're doing a super tiny ceremony, but even those take some planning. And I'm trying to get healthier as I embark on this newest stage, so that means working out more and meal planning. And I'm still a nurse part time and mom full time. And well, needless to say, life has been hectic. And unfortunately painting took a backseat to everything else these last several months.

But today I caught spring fever and decided it was time to clean and organize my studio. Which led to matting up some prints for the gallery. Which led to me busting out my latest space painting to start working on again. And you know, I felt soooo good to be back.

I just need to remember that painting is never a chore and while it may never be my number one priority in my day, it can be number 3 or 4! Here's to remembering to find time for my creative side.
