I just want to start off by sending a big thank you to those of you who came out to see me at First and Main during the Bothell Art Walk. There was a great turnout at my location, and it was so nice to talk with people about my art style and themes. I loved seeing little kids smile and talk about my fun space paintings, or adults debate which hedgehog was the cutest.  I focused on my more whimsical art to display for this event, and I was relieved that it was widely accepted and enjoyed. I know my art isn’t for everyone….not everyone wants an octopus on the moon over their fireplace mantel…but the more I paint what makes me happy, the more I see others are welcoming this quirky style. I love it.  But it do still enjoy creating *slightly* more traditional art, and you can see those themes of flower farms and gardens on display at Tsuga in Bothell, or at Gallery North for their Small Works Show. In fact, the piece I’m currently working on is a forest landscape, and as of now I don’t think an adorable animal will end up in it. But you never know. ??

Thanks again for supporting my weird art, my normal art, and everything in between.
