Finding Balance
This year I’ll be looking at going back to work in nursing part time, while still painting and volunteering and being a mom. Sometimes just thinking about it all is overwhelming, let alone putting it into action. This month has also had the added challenge of sick family and travel. I feel like essentially everything has gotten put on hold, and we’re in survival mode. Bright moments have been unexpected time spent with family, albeit under sad circumstances. I’m trying to work on three landscapes, to feel like I’m still creative and still an artist. They are from flower-filled paths from the botanical gardens where I volunteer. Trying to get my stock up on flower-based paintings for Tsuga by March. It’s always nice to have specific deadlines to help push me along and to focus, especially when life seems a bit out of sorts. I’ll include work-in-progress images of each for you. Once I get them finished and framed, I’ll have more details on if you’d like to purchase one or more. Here’s to finding balance in life when nothing seems ‘normal’.
Thanks! - Michele
