Hi everyone!  Seattle weather went from 'smokey and hot' to 'sunny and VERY cold'. It has inspired me to work on some snowy scenes.  The one that I just finished up today is an abstract landscape of birch trees in front of whimsical swirling snowflakes.  Two red cardinals nestle in the trees.  My grandmother always loved these red birds, and this painting reminds me of her and the Midwest.  Stay tuned because I'm envisioning my next winter painting, and it involves a hedgehog and cute, red winter hat.

I was super excited with the turnout for the November Art Walk at Zulu's in Bothell.  I sold quite a few prints and spoke with lots of fun people.   Can't wait for the next Art Walk in the Spring.  Going on now, I still have several small paintings in the Tsuga Small Works Exhibition in downtown Bothell.  Details on my events page.

Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy!  Take care! - Michele
