Painting Fireflies on a Rainy PNW Day.
Adding the fireflies in today.
I have been slowly working on a new painting, inspired by a photo I took at the Rhododendron Park in Federal Way, WA on one of my PAWA paint outs. The image is pretty much giving me a structural base, to which I have changed the time of day and included fireflies. Originally living in the Midwest, I am nostalgic for the summertime glow of lightning bugs.
